Agreed. Also, bring back good customer friction.

The IKEA Effect: we value what we work for. Bertini et al. (2024) found slowing the purchase down raised satisfaction and loyalty over time. The consumer doesn't want to make the fastest purchase, they want to make the right one!

We have to design for those intentional moments within the customer's purchase journey.
