"Is waiting in a 12-hour queue the new cool thing to do? These people think so." When the BBC is asking that question, you know something is shifting in how we define a great retail experience. It's encouraging to see the psychology of queuing entering the mainstream conversation, recognising that not every moment of friction is a problem to solve. Sometimes the wait itself creates anticipation, belonging and a story worth sharing.
